At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Project BIM Manager to work as a member of the greater Digital Construction team in the Head Office in Cork.
Your day to day will include:

Design & BIM Programme Management – Develop and manage the design activity schedule (TIDP), track deliverables, progress, % complete, and report weekly on performance and lookahead.

Design Coordination & Compliance – Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams (process, mechanical, electrical, BIM) ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, and qualified technical review.

BIM Resource & Supply Chain Management – Manage internal and external BIM resources, review scope and costs, track performance, and ensure supply chain compliance.

Risk, Change & Commercial Support – Identify, manage, and record design risks, assumptions, deviations, and change; compile evidence and reports to support commercial recovery.

Stakeholder & Client Interface – Lead coordination with clients, contractors, and external parties; represent the business in workshops and meetings, producing accurate records and minutes.

Quality, H&S & Buildability – Promote best-value, robust design solutions with strong H&S focus, supporting buildability, prefabrication strategies, and safe operations and maintenance.

Information & Documentation Control – Oversee interface schedules, builders work processes, O&M documentation, redline drawings, and structured information flow across the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing – Drive innovation, post-project reviews, lessons learned, performance improvement, and contribute to company standards, methods, and procedures.
