At Dornan we are currently recruiting for Mechanical Inspector to work on a data centre project in Mons, Belgium. Accommodation, flights, net living allowance and a generous benefits package all provided.

Your day to day will include:
- Ensure familiarity with Project requirements as detailed in Contract documents, specifications, codes and standards.
- To complete inspections of installations for compliance with the approved Benchmark (FOK/FIP), Design and project specifications
- Perform routine inspections of the quality of installations and record snags / observations.
- Owner of snagging the installation both on scheduled walkdowns and surveillances / observations and inputting snags into snag management software.
- Deliver Benchmark / First of a kind process and sign off
- Completion of Tag Checklists for Mechanical Assets
- QA Owner of allocated Mechanical Asset scope to take from construction completion through Testing, inspecting and handover
- Monitoring and Surveillance of Subcontractor installation works and review of Quality documentation.
- Partake in Quality Surveillance Programme
- Review and approval of Test and Inspection records
- Attendance at Quality and Commissioning Meetings as required.
- Represent Dornan at Asset Walkdowns
- Ensure timely responses and close out of Quality observations, snags, BIM issues and NCR's
What we are looking for:
- Third level degree OR trade qualification in a Mechanical Discipline
- Preferably certified Welding Inspection qualified
