Design Manager

At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Design Manager a site in East London

Your day to day will include:

• Along with the project director & planner develop TIDP. (Task information delivery plan)

• Ensure all parties buy in to said TIDP. (give them their opportunity to input)

• Hold all consultants and DESL engineers accountable for deliverable dates. 

• Track weekly performance of each. (KPI tracking)

• Where failing on dates - understand why and find a way forward that protects DESL overall deliverable.

• Chair weekly internal DTM's. 

• Chair bi-weekly upstream DTM's. 

• Manage the client's expectations.  Ensuring we protect DESL at all times but also knowing when to give and take with the future opportunities in mind.

• Manage the design with procurement dates in mind - participate in the procurement meeting weekly

What we are looking for:

The role is to manage the full pre-construction/handover documentation of the project and eventually the next 2 phases.
